Tattoos and what not!

Bonjourno!

This week, I’m going to talk, as the title suggests, about tattoos. I don’t have any tattoos myself but it’s a very interesting thing and I’m thinking of getting one in the future. I am really into small and meaningful tattoos. I think that a tattoo can say more about someone than they can themselves, witch is already magical in the first place. They make a statement with their tattoo. And that is what I like so much about it. You can tell a whole story with just one drawing or word. It also shows that you can commit to something, because that tattoo is going to be there for the rest of your life. That’s mainly why I like people with tattoos. I feel that they will be better friends or lovers because they all made that choice to have something permanently inked on their bodies.

I don't know what tattoo I will get in the future yet, but I surely have some preferences. Like I said a small and meaningful tattoo on my arms. Preferably on my wrists. I have always liked the world tattoo. I also like a tattoo on my fingers like a plane or a MOM and DAD on the inside of my middle finger. Here are some other ideas that may inspire you!

I got these at this Facebook page:  https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=667605013279762

These look fun and all but there are some things you need to know before getting a tattoo. I have made a list of the essential things you need to know

It is yours
Most people have a meaning to their tattoos. It's maybe because someone you held dearly passed away or just someone you love in general. There are a thousand reasons people get tattoos. But if this tattoo is on a place that’s visible, other people tend to ask: Ooohhh nice tattoo but what does it mean?! And sometimes the meaning behind it is very personal or just not something you want to share with this person. If you don't want to share it, then don't share it. There are no rules to tattoos, the only rule there is, is that it’s yours. So even if it has no meaning at all, they have no part in knowing why you got it!

Spend money
This tip may sound weird, but I think it's very important. When choosing a tattoo artist, you have to take certain things in to a count. If it's cheap, then it's too good to be true. Prices vary between artists, the type of tattoo you want or some artists even price by the hour. But it can go from 50$ for a small text or name to 3500$ for a whole sleeve. So if this unknown artist wants to do it for 10$, it's probably not worth it. Try to do some research about the artist. Does the tattoo shop have good reviews? Are they hygienic enough? Are they trustable? If they are, then you will have less stress and you will be happier with the product! You are inking your skin for the rest of your life, a high price is definitely worth it!

A Good Tattoo Isn't Cheap, A Cheap Tattoo Isn't Good

Commit
You've heard it before: You know, I'm getting a tattoo! And the you see that person 2 years later, and they still haven't done it. If you make this decision, you've got to stick with it and execute your plan. Think about it and consider it with the pros and the cons of it. But don't keep thinking about it after you made the decision because that will only make you hesitate more.

Try it out
You don't know exactly what it will look like until it is permanently on your body. Most people have a picture or sketch of what they want their tattoo to look like. With this visual aid you can make a temporary tattoo. Just draw your design on tracing paper or parchment paper with a gel pen (it's important to use a gel pen, other pens can be toxic or cause allergic reactions). You can also print your design and trace it with the pen. After that you just place it on like a normal temporary tattoo. This tattoo will stay for a couple of days so you can try your tattoo out!
If you want to keep it from smearing, just spray some hairspray on it!

Now when you get a tattoo, it hurts. But how bad is it? The first 15 minutes are the worst. After that the adrenaline will kick in and the pain will lessen!

Weekly obsession! #1
My weekly obsession this week is the ostrich pillow light. It is a small, reversible pillow that like the add says: is portable, comfortable, and totally adjustable. Not to mention seriously practical. I absolutely love it. It it is as comfortable as it looks. I like to use it on the airplane or just on a long road trip!

Weekly song! #1
My weekly song this week is Black Magic by Little Mix. Their music video just came out and it totally fits the song. The production looks good and it is just a catchy tune!
One thing though, on the blackboard in the last scene, there is a massive mistake and as a science math student, I couldn’t ignore it. Instaid of (a+b)²= a²+2ab+b² there is (a+b)²= a²+ab+b² !

Let me know if you have any questions about tattoos or anything else!

Lots of love
Angeluno
